Last updated: April 14, 2025

Terminal49 leverages Chain.io’s cloud-based integration platform to seamlessly sync real-time container tracking data into TMS, ERP, WMS, and other logistics platforms. With pre-built connectivity and automated data transformation, logistics providers eliminate manual updates, reduce operational friction, and ensure accurate shipment visibility. This solution ensures seamless data flow without the need for costly development or IT overhead.

Core Benefits

  • Faster, Easier Integrations – Deploy Terminal49’s data via Chain.io’s pre-built connectors, reducing setup time from months to days.

  • Eliminate Manual Data Entry – Automatically sync container milestones, ETAs, holds, and status updates across your supply chain.

  • Enhance Supply Chain Visibility – Connect Terminal49’s real-time container tracking to your TMS, ERP, and freight management systems for proactive decision-making.

How Does It Work

Chain.io will take shipment details from a forwarder’s TMS and register the container or Bill of Lading for tracking via the Terminal49 API. As milestones are recorded within Terminal49, Chain.io will receive updates via API and create shipment tracking milestones in the forwarder TMS.
