FAQ: Why Do Containers Show Holds Days or Weeks Before Arriving At The Port Of Discharge?

Currently, the hold data for all shipments and containers is provided directly by the Terminal, and we relay this information to our customers as we receive it. It might be more accurate to say that customs has not been cleared, rather than there being a specific hold, but we don't receive that level of detail from many terminals.
