Tracking Shipments Via Bulk Spreadsheet Upload

Need to upload multiple shipments or containers all at once? You can use our Bulk Spreadsheet Upload feature to save time and effort. Here’s how to track your shipments and containers using a CSV file in just a few steps.

What You’ll Need
Before uploading, make sure your spreadsheet is formatted correctly. You can use .csv, .tsv, .xls, .xlsx, .xml, or .txt file types.
Shipments and Container CSV Requirements
Your spreadsheet should include the following columns:

Master Bill of Lading / Booking Number | Yes |
Shipping Line | Yes |
Reference Numbers | No |
Shipment Tags | No |

Step-by-Step: How to Import Your Data

1. Click the 'Track' button
Navigate to https://app.terminal49.com/track and click Track from the left-hand navigation pane. This will take you to the Track Shipments & Containers page.

2. Click on Bulk Spreadsheet Upload
Click the “Bulk Spreadsheet Upload” tab at the top of the page.

3. Prepare Your File
Make sure your spreadsheet is formatted correctly and includes all required columns. You can download the sample CSV template.
4. Upload Your Spreadsheet
If you're uploading shipments, click the Start importing shipments button.
If you're uploading containers, click the Start importing containers button.

Tip: You can mix and match file formats (.csv, .xlsx, etc.), but make sure each file is clean and only includes the necessary data.
Secure & Streamlined
Each upload is securely processed and automatically linked to your Terminal49 dashboard. Once imported, we’ll start tracking the shipments and containers in real time, no extra steps needed.
