Why Do Discrepancies Occur Between The Vessel Arrival Timestamp and POD ETA on Container Dashboard?
Last updated: March 25, 2026
The Port of Discharge (POD) Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) in the container dashboard and the vessel arrival timestamp on the shipment page are two different pieces of data. The POD ETA column in the container dashboard reflects the last ETA received from the steamship line, while the vessel arrival timestamp on the shipment page may represent the estimated or actual vessel arrival time.
Comparing the Two Data Points
Data Point | What It Represents |
POD ETA | The last Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) received from the steamship line |
Vessel Arrival Timestamp | The latest estimated or actual vessel arrival time |
